BPW Brake Shoes

BPW brakes are often used on Atlas Copco compressor axles. For other running spares please call us!

Please measure the internal diameter of the brake drum and the width of the shoe to determine the brake size, and check the shape of your shoes from the pictures below.  Brake manufacturers state that you should always replace brake shoes in complete axle sets to ensure even wear and full braking effectiveness.  BPW brake shoes are now sold as an axle set with the springs and fittings as shown in the picture below.
